Acceptable Use Policy

Guidelines and rules for the appropriate use of TraceWeave's services.

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (hereinafter, the "Policy") sets out the guidelines and restrictions for the use of TraceWeave's services. Its purpose is to ensure a secure, ethical environment that complies with applicable regulations.

TraceWeave reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any user who, in TraceWeave's sole discretion, violates this Policy, including but not limited to the suspension or termination of the account.

2. Acceptance of the Policy

By using TraceWeave's services, you agree to comply with this Policy. This Policy applies to all users, regardless of the plan contracted.

Important

Failure to comply with this Policy may result in the immediate suspension of your account without prior notice. In serious cases, TraceWeave reserves the right to take legal action.

3. Prohibited Activities

It is expressly prohibited to use TraceWeave's services to:

3.1 Illegal Activities

  • Any activity that violates local, national or international laws.
  • Money laundering, terrorist financing or fraud.
  • Trafficking in illegal products or counterfeits.
  • Infringement of third-party intellectual property rights.

3.2 Abuse and Exploitation

  • Harassment, threats, defamation or intimidation of other users.
  • Publication of content that incites hatred, discrimination or violence.
  • Exploitation of minors or content related to child abuse.
  • Impersonation of individuals, companies or organisations.

3.3 Security and Malware

  • Distribution of viruses, malware, ransomware or any malicious software.
  • Attempts to gain unauthorised access to third-party systems, accounts or data.
  • DDoS attacks, phishing or social engineering.
  • Exploitation of security vulnerabilities without prior authorisation.

3.4 Spam and Commercial Abuse

  • Mass sending of unsolicited emails (spam).
  • Use of the platform for pyramid or multi-level schemes.
  • Automated scraping of data without express authorisation.
  • Reselling access to the platform without TraceWeave's authorisation.

4. Responsible Use

Users undertake to:

  • 1.Use the services solely for legitimate purposes and in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • 2.Keep their access credentials confidential and not share them with third parties.
  • 3.Immediately notify TraceWeave of any unauthorised use of their account.
  • 4.Respect the usage limits established in their contracted plan (storage, API calls, users).
  • 5.Cooperate with TraceWeave in investigations of security or breaches of this Policy.

5. User Content

The user is solely responsible for the content they upload to the platform (products, materials, documents, images). TraceWeave does not proactively review content, but reserves the right to remove it if it:

  • Violates this Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Contains false or misleading information about products or certifications.
  • Is subject to a court order or request from a competent authority.

TraceWeave assumes no responsibility for content uploaded by users, and users shall indemnify TraceWeave against any claim arising from their content.

6. Security and Access

6.1 Credentials

Users must keep their credentials secure and not share them. The use of strong passwords (minimum 12 characters, a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and symbols) and two-factor authentication (2FA) is recommended.

6.2 Security Research

If you wish to carry out security testing or pentesting on the platform, you must obtain prior written authorisation from TraceWeave. Please contact hola@traceweave.eu with the subject [Seguridad] Solicitud de pruebas autorizadas.

TraceWeave welcomes the responsible disclosure of vulnerabilities. When a formal bug bounty programme exists, it will be announced in this section.

6.3 Monitoring

TraceWeave reserves the right to monitor the use of the platform to detect suspicious activity, abuse or breaches of this Policy. This monitoring is carried out respecting the user's privacy and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

Users undertake not to infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties. This includes:

  • Not uploading products, images, logos or documents to which they do not hold legitimate rights.
  • Not using third-party trademarks without authorisation.
  • Not copying or reproducing copyright-protected content.

TraceWeave responds to copyright infringement notices in accordance with Directive 2001/29/EC and applicable legislation. To report an infringement, please contact hola@traceweave.eu with the subject [Propiedad Intelectual] Notificación de infracción.

8. Regulatory Compliance

Users undertake to comply with all regulations applicable to their sector, including but not limited to:

9. Reporting Violations

If you detect any activity that may violate this Policy, please report it immediately through the following channels:

TraceWeave will investigate all reports confidentially and take appropriate action. We appreciate the collaboration of our community in maintaining a secure environment.

10. Consequences of Non-Compliance

Failure to comply with this Policy may result in the following measures, at TraceWeave's sole discretion:

Warning

In minor cases or for a first violation, a formal warning will be issued to the user, granting them a period to correct the conduct.

Temporary Suspension

Temporary blocking of the account (from 7 to 30 days) while the violation is investigated or the user is allowed to remedy the situation.

Permanent Suspension

Definitive cancellation of the account with no possibility of reactivation. This applies in serious or repeated cases.

Legal Action

TraceWeave reserves the right to pursue civil or criminal legal action, and will cooperate with the competent authorities in investigations relating to illegal activities.

Immediate Suspension

TraceWeave reserves the right to immediately suspend any account without prior notice if it determines that there is an imminent risk to the security, integrity or reputation of the platform, or if illegal activity is detected.

11. Amendments

TraceWeave reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. Amendments will take effect immediately upon their publication on this website.

Users will be notified of substantial changes by email or by notice on the platform. Continued use of the services after the publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the amended Policy.
