Before placing products on the market, the producer registers, stating the CN codes it intends to market (Article 22b). Without registration you cannot sell.
Declare
DRAFT ROYAL DECREE
The draft Spanish Royal Decree asks, once a year, for the quantities in weight and number of articles per CN code. It is a draft under way: it may change, and until it reaches the official gazette it can only be quoted as a draft.
Contribute
DIRECTIVE · IN FORCE
The contribution is based on weight and, where appropriate, quantity, and is modulated according to the ecodesign requirements adopted under Regulation (EU) 2024/1781. The specific modulation criteria do not exist yet: they depend on acts the Commission has not adopted.
The contribution will be modulated according to the ecodesign requirements of Regulation (EU) 2024/1781. That is the same regulation the digital product passport comes from, and it is stated in a directive in force.
Registration, declaration and passport ask for different views of the same product and supply-chain data. Whoever manages it in one place produces all three without capturing it again.
